Investigate the relationship between home appliances and user interface to improve a product that is long-lasting and harmonious with its environment and the user journey.
Levoit's portfolio of air purifiers is their award-winning showcase as a company, while their humidifiers do not exemplify the same attention to detail. With increasing consumer attention towards environmental sustainability and a focus on wellness, there is a need for a well-designed humidifier to promote immune support in the home. To parallel Levoit's current rebranding of their digital spaces, we propose the same happen to their less-awarded category of air treatment products, humidifiers.
Market research and benchmarking was documented through Miro. Research included identifying user groups, common uses, health benefits, competitor analysis, process analysis, 2-axis mapping, and user journey mapping.

To match the colorful CMF and translucency of the physical product, the UI design for the "better" version of the app was visually inspired by glassmorphism styling.
